To let go of our mask, we need a mirror who can see us for who we truly are.
Coaching creates a space where we join together as equals to invite the deepest, most important parts of ourselves to step out from behind the mask and grow.
Coaching isn’t about “curing” your executive dysfunction, squeezing the last bit of productivity out of an already exhausted heart, or forcing you to fit into a world that isn’t built for you.
I don’t offer life hacks to “fix” you or leave you feeling like you can’t measure up.
Instead, we partner together to help you:
Understand your neurodivergence
Manage energy, burnout, and overload
Navigate life and career transitions
Design humane daily rhythms
Manage interpersonal relationships and conflict
Explore professional paths that fit you
Dismantle internalized self-doubt
Communicate your needs
Find where you truly belong
So you can finally live an undivided life that honors how you truly are.
As a neurodivergent person, I know your struggles, honor your unique strengths, and value your gifts and intensity.
My coaching begins where you are, choosing where to settle based entirely on your energy and your needs.
We will build a custom plan based on the areas covered in Unmasked Life for Social Transformation:
Month 1: Reorient
You’ll unpack the architecture of ADHD, autistic, and gifted adulthood.
You’ll begin to notice your mask and what it’s costing you.
And you’ll explore the four archetypes of mature neurodivergence: the truthteller, the sage, the hearthkeeper, and the architect.
Month 2: Recover
You’ll name the things that are exhausting you, from executive function fatigue and rejection sensitivity to demand avoidance and burnout.
You’ll learn to recognize your body’s survival signals.
And you’ll begin to process the losses you’ve experienced.
Month 3: Retell
You’ll flip the script on learned helplessness by embracing your strengths and the intense interests that connect you to yourself and others.
You’ll reconnect with your core values to discover the change you want to make.
And you’ll develop a vision to integrate your work and life.
Month 4: Reclaim
You’ll step forward by cultivating the disciplines for designing a life worth living.
You’ll design supportive scaffolding that works with your daily rhythms.
And you’ll build your capacity for nonviolent communication to advocate for your needs and model safety for everyone around you.
We all grow in our own unique ways.
We will work session-by-session, meeting you exactly where you are and honoring the natural rhythm of your own mind, body, and heart.
Session Length: Approximately 60 minutes.
Session-by-Session: You’ll pay for sessions in advance and only for what you need.
Sliding Scale: We agree on fee based on a sliding scale.
Your Own Pace: We can meet weekly, bi-weekly, or adjust based on your energy and life.
While we can work together as short or as long as you like, clients typically make the most progress after 12 or 18 sessions.
Let’s honor your doubts.
Neurodivergent adults have spent a lifetime being misunderstood and misdiagnosed by “experts” and institutions.
Your doubts about yourself and others have kept you safe.
And they’ve also held you back.
-
Because we’re so used to trying to do everything ourselves, we often grit our teeth and wait until we’re in crisis before seeking support. But you don't have to earn relief by suffering up to your absolute limit. You deserve to feel seen, safe, and supported right now.
-
A lifetime of masking and trying to fit into rigid systems can leave you feeling like your needs come second. But developing your capacity to respond to life is basic self-care, not a luxury you have to earn.
-
Another variation on earning self-care. You don’t need to have your life figured out before you get support. Coaching can help you right now.
-
Many neurodivergent adults have been deeply harmed by rigid clinical frameworks created by neurotypical people.
But I’m not a therapist, and coaching isn’t psychotherapy. I’m not interested in ‘fixing’ or ‘curing’ you. I want you to help you grow on your own terms.
I don’t diagnose or treat any mental health condition. But if you need therapy, we can work together to find one that fits.
-
Coaching isn’t about forcing yourself to measure up to anyone else’s standards. You set the the goals and the agenda. You set the pace.
-
Of course. Many neurodivergent adults didn’t have access to diagnostic care or were misdiagnosed and misunderstood as children. If you’ve always felt like you’ve never fit it, but never fully understood why, coaching can help.
As a coach, I don’t diagnose or treat any mental health condition like ADHD or autism. But if you believe a diagnosis would help you, we can help you make that possible.
-
Neurodivergent people are often underemployed, unemployed, and underpaid, and coaching isn’t covered by most health plans. So yes, the cost of coaching can be an issue. I help clients navigate this by offering 1:1 coaching offerings on a sliding scale, as well as by offering a variety of other programs to help people get the support they need.
-
It’s easy to feel this way, especially when you’re in the thick of it. But while yo may not be able to go back, you can go forward. Your brain is constantly developing throughout your life. You can always learn, always grow, wherever you are.
-
Neurodivergent adults are used to having people tell them how they’ve failed to measure up. Coaching is different. You’re teaching me. We’re learning and growing together.
You don’t have to wait to give yourself permission to honor who you are.
If something here resonated with you, that’s all the permission you need.
